Welcome to UPC’s New Webpage!!
As you can see, it looks nothing like it did before...and that was our intent. We want our page to be a resource for you. When you have a question, we want you to come to our page first. To that end, we need to know what else we should do to improve its quality. Please send any comments or suggestions to me at rjchurch@utah.gov) or Ron Weight at rweight@utah.gov. If something doesn’t work, we want to know about it. If we’re missing something, we want to know that too.
Explore and see what we’ve included. While not all the links are populated with information, you can see what we want to do, where we want to go.
We have a Members Only page that is available to any prosecutor in the state. To join, you'll need to register. Click on the Members tab and complete the information page. An e-mail will be sent to me for verification that you're in fact a prosecutor. I'll get you approved within a day or two. You'll then get an e-mail back with a temporary password. Sign in and change your password. You can use a combination of upper and lower case letters and numbers - but no special characters.
The Member's Only page needs your help. Our Motion's tab needs your motions and memo’s. Someone out there is going to have the same issue that you’ve already dealt with and would love to benefit from your experience. Please send your work to us in either a Word or WordPerfect format.
The ToolBox will be filled with checklists, outlines, “How-To’s,” cheat sheets and anything else that you use on a regular basis that makes your life easier. Again, we want what you use. These can be sent in Word or WordPerfect or as a pdf.
City prosecutors - we need your office contact information. We won't post personal information, just how to get a hold of your office.
Who else should we include on our contacts list?
We have a guest article on our page. It's on the Interstate Compact. We're looking for more articles. I know that many of you write on the topic de jour and want to see it published. Send us your articles and we'll see about getting them published to our page.
I want to thank Ron for all the hard work he’s put into this page. He has spent countless hours experimenting with its look and format. He’ll be the first to admit design is not his greatest strength but I think he’s done an outstanding job!
So take advantage of our new page and help us to make it better for you.
